Retail Skills NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3
Retail Skills NVQs are aimed at people working in the retail sector.
Level 1
This qualification is about working in a retail environment. You will find it appropriate if you are operating at a basic level in your work role. It will be suitable for you if you are:
- new to the retail sector
- following training programmes
- following training programmes in preparation for work
- leaving school.
Level 2
This qualification is about working in a retail environment. You will find it appropriate if you are:
- Already competent in basic retail skills and require recognition of a wider range of abilities in retailing.
- Progressing from the Level 1 NVQ in Retail Skills.
- Wishing to demonstrate competence gained previously in retailing or associated industries.
Level 3 - Sales Professional
This qualification is about working in a retail environment. You will find it appropriate if you are already competent in a significant variety of retail work activities. For example:
- senior sales assistants
- team leaders
- supervisors and managers.
