What We Can Do For You

We offer quality work based learning, leading to achievement of National Vocational Qualifications in your chosen work area and valuable experience.

When you first come to us we will have an informal chat to see if we can help you. If you cannot or do not want to come on one of our courses we will help you get in touch with somebody who can help you achieve your career aims

We will ensure that an appropriate assessment of your training needs is agreed with you and given to you in writing at the start of your vocational training course programme and the results of any test that you have done will be explained to you.

We will provide you with details of advantages and disadvantages of different work areas, our programmes, qualifications, and opportunities for progression, opportunities available at colleges or other Training Providers and local employment opportunities.

Throughout your stay on one of our programmes you will receive regular assessment, support and reviews from a named tutor.

If you are on our E2E programme you will be given a mentor, with whom you will have weekly sessions.

You will be provided with any personal protective equipment you are required by law to use free of charge.

Your hours of work, holidays, arrangements for payments, discipline and grievance procedures will be explained to you and given to you in writing.

We can give you extra support for any special needs identified in your initial assessment and if we do not have the expertise to help you we have a bank of services you can use.

You will receive training from qualified and experienced staff in a safe and properly equipped training and working environment.

Nuneaton Training Centre is funded to deliver training by Coventry and Warwickshire Learning and Skills Council and this means some statistical information about you will have to be submitted to them but we will ensure your confidentiality is respected.
